Q1. Can the Travel Route have fewer than 4 cards? A. Yes, although you won’t be able to get the highest score. For example, if the game ends with 3 cards placed in ascending order on the Travel Route, the Travel Route score is 20 points.

Q2. When replacing a Travel Route card with a card ability (the abilities of cards 1 and 6), can I place the new card somewhere other than the original card’s position? A. Yes. These abilities let you take 1 card from the Travel Route back into your hand, then add 1 new card to the Travel Route. You may choose any position for the new card you add to the Travel Route.

Q3. When replacing a Travel Route card with a card ability (the abilities of cards 1 and 6), can I take a card placed by the other player? Can I also take a card that is face up? A. Yes to both. You may take any card you choose from the Travel Route into your hand.
